Want more detail? The data value calculator asks five questions, including what kind of record you have and who owns it.

How the rough range works

Licenses of a company’s operating record typically land between $100K and $2M, and higher for a long record. The buyer pays the company. Years of operating history, and how much of the work is visible in the files, move the number more than raw volume. The value check places your answers in the same six bands as the data value calculator. Latopis does not price the record.

Questions about the value check

Is the value check an offer?

No. It is a rough guide from three answers, kept inside the typical $100K to $2M range. Latopis does not price the record. A buyer sets the price after reviewing a sample.

Does anything leave my systems?

No. The value check runs in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, sent, or saved, and nothing is sent until you choose to continue to the short form.

What does it cost the company?

Nothing. There is no fee and no commission from the company. The buyer pays the company, and Latopis is paid by the buyer only if a license closes.

Does the company keep its data?

Yes. The license covers defined material for a defined term. The company keeps the business, the files, and the right to keep using them.

What happens if I continue?

You answer three quick questions: your systems, the company, and who can sign. Latopis reads it and, if the record fits, introduces one buyer. A buyer reviews within one to two weeks of a finished intake.

How is this different from the data value calculator?

The value check asks three questions. The data value calculator asks five, including what kind of record you have and who owns it, and uses the same ranges.
