Do I need to export drawings to start?
No. The Latopis check asks three questions: your systems, the company, and who can sign. Nothing is uploaded to start.
Short answer: To export your AutoCAD history, use eTransmit to package drawings with their dependent files into a zip or folder. Drawings stored in BIM 360 Docs can be downloaded by folder as a single .zip. Only include drawings the company owns; drawings a project owner still owns are excluded. No export is needed to start a Latopis check.

Shop drawings, details, and revisions the company produced show how it solved real building problems, and how designs changed from bid to as-built. Buyers who license the operating record look for those drawings alongside the estimates, RFIs, and job records they connect to.
Title blocks and xrefs often carry client names, project addresses, and people’s names. Strip or mask personal names and client details before anything is shared. Drawings a project owner still owns, and records you hold for clients as their agent, are excluded from a license.
You do not need to export anything to start. The Latopis check asks three questions: your systems, the company, and who can sign. You approve the scope before anything moves, and the company keeps its data.
Three questions, a rough range, and nothing leaves your systems.
